German Bundesliga RB Leipzig is pushing for a re-lease of Xavi Simmons, who showed impressive performance last season.

Fabrizio Romano, a reporter specializing in the transfer market, said on the 24th that Leipzig is confident that the green light for Simmons will be turned on.

"The recruitment competition with Bayern Munich is still continuing, but Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaf is pushing for talks to return to Simmons," Romano added.

Simmons grew up with FC Barcelona and PSG youth teams, but failed to establish himself as a first team member for both clubs. He left PSG in the summer of 2022 and moved to PSV Eindhoven. Simmons showed promise for Eindhoven. He posted a record of 22 goals and 12 assists in 48 official matches in the 2022/23 season. Simmons, who scored 19 goals for Eredivisie in the Netherlands, was the league's top scorer.

Simmons returned to PSG in July 2023. He was loaned to Leipzig ahead of the 2023/24 season. Simmons also continued his growth for Leipzig. He scored 10 goals and 15 assists in 43 games last season. Simmons returned to PSG after a successful loan spell.

Simmons is a promising resource for the Dutch national team as well. He made the shortlist for Euro 2024. Simmons played in six games, one goal and three assists in his first major championship. The Netherlands advanced to the semifinals but failed to advance to the final as it lost to England 1-2 in the semifinals.

Simmons is likely to move this summer. According to Romano, Simmons has told the club that he intends to leave PSG this summer. 무료슬롯사이트

Simmons is drawing attention from Leipzig, Munich, Barcelona, and Manchester United. Several clubs are targeting Simmons, but PSG is excluding the possibility of sales. PSG will only allow loan transfers.
